JavaScript Job: Blockchain Security Auditor

• JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)

We've onboarded some of the world's most reputable brands and now we need a Blockchain Security Auditor for one of our clients.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Looking for someone to build a long-term relationship with (our projects typically last 3-4 weeks, with 2-4 weeks between one project and the next).

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in Software Engineering (Go and Rust are highly desirable, but not essential)
• 1+ year of Blockchain experience (DeFi highly desirable)

What we expect from you

• A passion for finding issues in code and an outstanding detail orientation
• Knowledge of cryptographic protocols and understanding of cybersecurity
• Experience in decentralized finance and economic modeling general
• Experience in code reviews is a plus but not required. Auditors will be fully trained in a mentoring program working alongside experienced experts.

What you can work on

• High-level security consulting/architecture reviewsSmart contract audits (Solidity/Ethereum, CosmWasm/Cosmos SDK, Ink!/Polkadot)
• Code reviews in various programming languages (Go, Rust, JavaScript, TypeScript)

Our client is a cyber security consulting firm that offers security auditing services for a number of blockchains, with a special focus on third-generation blockchains and protocols, such as the Cosmos, Terra, Polkadot and Flow ecosystems.
